Kate's hair has become my new favorite pastime. These are from last week one night when Patrick had to work. It was actually a pretty monumental moment for me. I cannot tell you how many nights I slept in sponge rollers as a child. I thought it would have been a little too much to force a 9 month old to sleep in rollers, so we just left them in for an hour or so. Her hair holds curl surprisingly well and even more she did not mind sitting still for the beauty parlor session nor did she mind leaving them in. Yes, ladies, I am starting her out right knowing that their is a price to pay for such beauty. :)

oh my gosh! the pink sponge rollers! i spent many a nights in those things! love them! sweet emma kate will have to wait a few more years..although her hair is growing! slow and steady wins the race.
This is the funniest and cutest thing I've ever seen. Georgia still doesn't have near enough hair to try this. Not that I would even know how to do it. My hair never held curl. All those rollers would do is kink it. This just cracks me up!
That is so funny! I have thought of doing the same thing. I, too, slept in rollers. So many memories of getting my hair rolled and hating it!! So funny. Good job, Mom!!
