The Sweetest Little Walker

Just have to brag a bit on my tiniest little sweetie. She has been taking steps for about a month or so now, but this week has officially crossed the line into "walking." And I must say...it is simply precious. Oh how cute!!

Oh how I love getting to spend time with old friends and their families. Before our race a couple of weeks ago we had a quick lunch with the Bryants. Kate and Brack (and now Gavin) are so precious to us...we love you sweet friends!!

My New Hobby

Kate's hair has become my new favorite pastime. These are from last week one night when Patrick had to work. It was actually a pretty monumental moment for me. I cannot tell you how many nights I slept in sponge rollers as a child. I thought it would have been a little too much to force a 9 month old to sleep in rollers, so we just left them in for an hour or so. Her hair holds curl surprisingly well and even more she did not mind sitting still for the beauty parlor session nor did she mind leaving them in. Yes, ladies, I am starting her out right knowing that their is a price to pay for such beauty. :)
